Fried rice is probably the favorite rice delicacy next only to biryani. Very few vegetables are required for fried rice. Highlight of the dish is green chilli sauce, capsicum and black pepper. The combination gives the perfect blend of spiciness and it tastes yummy when you eat with tomato sauce.

INGREDIENTS

Briyani rice - 1 cup
Carrot - 2 nos
Beans - 50 gm
Onion - 1
Green capsicum - 1
Green peas (fresh) - 50 gm
Black pepper powder - 1 table spoon
Ghee - 2 table spoon
Oil - 3 table spoon
Green chilli sauce - 1/2 spoon

RECIPE STEPS

STEP 1

Soak the briyani rice in water for 10 minutes.

STEP 2

Drain the water completely and fry the rice on a kadai with one table spoon of ghee for 5 minutes.

STEP 3

Now pressure cook the rice with 1 1/2 cup of water, a little salt and 1/2 spoon of ghee to the rice, so that the rice will not be sticky when it is cooked.

STEP 4

Now cut all the vegetables as desired shape.

STEP 5

Take a kadai add 1 table spoon of ghee and 3 table spoon of oil to it and fry the onion until golden brown, then add the vegetables one by one and fry them until they are cooked.

STEP 6

Now add slat, green chilli sauce and black pepper powder to it and cook for 5 minutes with low flame.

STEP 7

Now add the cooked rice to the vegetables that has been prepared. Mix the rice well with very low flame for 20 minutes.

STEP 8

Now off the stove and add coriander leaves to it. Fried rice is very simple and you can prepare very quickly. Enjoy your fried rice with tomato sauce.
