Roast the Moongdal on a kadai. It should be roasted dry without adding ghee or oil.
Roast the Moongdal till it is half brown in colour. Stir it continuously, only then all the moongdal will be roasted uniformly.
Keep the flame low. It will take 20 to 25 minutes.
Switch off the stove and transfer the roasted moongdal on to a plate and allow it to cool completely.
If you take 2 cups of moongdal the sugar should be 1 1/2 cups.
Now grind the sugar on to a mixie jar to a fine powder and keep it aside. Transfer it to a bowl.
Next again grind the cooled moongdal on to mixie jar to a fine powder. We should grind it 2 to 3 times, only then we will get a fine mixture.
Heat the ghee to liquid state. Now mix both the sugar and moongdal together into big container.
Take the mixture little by little on to a separate bowl and add ghee to it.
Now after adding ghee to it, make it into a small round ball with hand. We should give some pressure while making the ball. The size can be as your wish.
Moongdal sweet will be very fine in texture, so while eating take in small quantities at a time. So enjoy eating Moongdal Ladoo little by little.
